If that was cover 2 and he was responsible for the deep half that is one of the worse bust i have ever seen in all my life getting caught flat footed ona tightend going seam providing zero over the top help for the corners. there should NEVER be a guy behind you in cover 2 if youre the safety, sure dwhite isnt covering deep middle but thats pretty standard but man oh man neal

People think this was winfields fault in another thread but go back and watch the play. Neal got lost in cover 2 and was suppose to be the deep safety as Dean watched the flat for cover 2 responsibilities and Neal got toasted. Winfield even puts his hands up and have a chat with Neal in the All 22, i would show the screenshots but idk how to post pictures in this forum

I really have no idea why hes in love with Neal's play, all i could think is that he knew what Canales was running all camp and knew the offenses plays because he was the most familiar with the system practicing against it everyday, but man that guy is so bad in coverage, hes slow, stiff hips, lacks ball skills, and now his mental errors

Yea we can agree, i was just appalled by Neal's play cause a better safety might of made up for Whites mistake, because there was still a checkdown coming out of the backfield that may have drew Whites attention for a split second, but Winfield also looks directly at Neal giving him a talk on the All 22
