i may get flamed for this but hear me out. imo ryan smith was are best cover corner last year
I know not saying much but he was. Hes our only corner with the size,speed and willingness to tackle to play other teams top wideouts. also his experience. maybe when he comes back he should play the outside and vernon move to the inside. In my opinion vern gets picked on alot. he makes some plays but the plays he gives up goes right back. Vern as the staff stated last year hes a great nickel corner. As a starter he doesnt have the measurables to hold up. Start ryan have vern move to nickel where he can cover guys that he matches up with and he can keep up with better then mj Stewart (who hasnt been terrible this year,but we can upgrade on).
