I know the defense was disappointing on Sunday. Letting the opponent score 40 points and almost blowing a 24 point lead is unacceptable but here is why im giving them a pass this time. We had more sacks then the saints. We had more turnovers then the saints.
Without those 2 turnovers, one of which scooped and scored by J.Evans, we lose that game. Those two very important turnovers were the deciding factor. No turnovers, no win.
We need to get better on defense, thats for sure. Learn from it, get better, and get ready for the eagles.
