This should be a collect all thread for Mike Glennon fans and naysayers. If we roll with Glennon as our starter we are throwing away 2014.
I'm not a Glennon fan but it's entirely possible he'll be the best QB the Bucs will have access to for 2014. You can't just snap your fingers and get a great QB. The team may have to wait for a better opportunity.
I think the way we are going, Glennon will be given a chance. If Garrapolo is there in the second we take him or if for some reason one of the top three QB's falls to us, we'll take that.
Logical fan says: givin the circumstances 1. a coach that refused to make half time adjustments, 2. When Glennon had success calling the shots in the no huddle the coach shut it down, 3. rookie year, 4. injuries, etc Glennon gets a prove it year. 19/9 earns him that right, and for those that point to second half woes....your finger is pointing in the wrong direction, it should be pointed at Schiano. I don't care who the QB is, if you don't adjust your 2nd half stats are going to be crap.

Exactly.
I have to agree. And it's funny how people assume glennon will be given a shot.

The same way others call him a big fail after a rookie season with poor coaching. Funny how that works out.

"I say we throw away our QB . . . . but dont have a replacement . . . I just like to throw him away"obvious question perhaps, but what is the REALISTIC alternative?

OMG, now you want him to think and post all at once. ;)
Can we trade MiltonMack for a can of store brand soda?

Sign Josh McCown and draft a QB. Unfortunately those meaningless wins will more than likely cost us a chance to draft a real QB this season.

who is "a QB"? you say its not a "real QB" but who is it?

So signing a career backup QB and drafting from an average QB draft class is the answer. I don't see an Andrew Luck available with the 7th pick. I prefer to see what we have with Glennon and good coaching.

I would trade up for Bortles or Bridgewater. I don't think that any of the top 3 will be available for us to draft and I don't think any guys that will be drafted past our 1st pick will be a 1st year upgrade over Glennon. But if you roll with Glennon as your starter you are saying to your fanbase that 2014 is a throwaway year. There are 4 groups of people that actively want the Bucs to roll with Glennon next year. Glennon fans, Saints fans, Falcons fans and Panthers fans.

You know Andrew Luck types are a once every 15 year type... right? But we just manage to win meaningless games enough times to miss out on those guys.
