There is no reason for the Bucs to pass on Watkins. None of their receivers will be on the team in five years and he could be one of the most explosive players in the NFL over the next 10 years.

OK - rolling with your Pierre Garcon analogy - the dude went for 113 receptions and 1300+ yards this past season. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? If anything it says Garcon should've gone much much higher, and not Watkins should go lower.And Watkins is much more talented than Pierre Garcon by the way.

Initially, I was not too thrilled with taking a WR in the first this year, but with all the Mike Williams stuff going on, its not seeming like a bad idea right now. And as much as I love Vincent, he will not last forever.Sammie will be the real deal IMO. Its not all about stats. If it was, you could just have a computer make your draft picks. Take the tallest WR, or the strongest lieman. Or the RB that had the most yards in college, disregarding what conference he played in. The intangibles are way more important. And some football guys are better at seeing the intangibles than others.

Well now, that doesn't make much sense. If Matthews goes 20 picks after Watkins rather than 40, that doesn't really say anything about whether or not Watkins sucks.
I think the winner should buy two years of Pewter Insider for the loser.
Saying a reciever needs to be tall is like saying a QB needs to be fast. It is a nice bonus but is not the most important thing.
