David and Dotson are the only value he left us with. The Revis trade was an act of desperation that he should not have had the power to make. And anyone who would still make the McCoy pick in retrospect is lying to themselves.
Ummm...I would still make the McCoy pick and am very happy with it. Not sure how I am lying to myself.
Then you're just dumb. Nobody forced Dominik to make the pick at #3 and absorb a top contract. Better players and/or value in the 1st round that year, by total cap charges 2010-2014Earl Thomas- $13.2MJason Pierre-Paul $16.2MMike Iupati- $12.5MDemaryius Thomas- $14.3MGerald McCoy? $66.8M Not a coincidence those teams have been elite and the Bucs have been bottom feeders.
So Im dumb for being happy to have a top 2-3 guy at his position? So what does that make you for your Freeman love affair? Borderline retarded?
McCoy is a very good player that is why he is paid very good money. Even though it is a rookie contract from the old structure it is still reasonable for a DL.

Paying a 5 sack a year pass rusher QB money. Brilliant strategy.

He was paid based on where he was drafted smart guy. So while you listed 4 guys we could have had for the same price, should I go through the other 25 we could have taken that would have been worse than McCoy?
They seemed to think they needed to re-brand...

What do the other 25 have to do with it? You said in retrospect you take McCoy and his huge contract at #3 again. Instead of trading down/passing on the pick and take one of the other 4 guys, really?
Since when does a GM take that blame?
When you trade up for Arrelious Benn and Luke Stocker.
That lost their playoff chances right?
Benn pick was a factor in why we sucked the last few years, yes. It all stems from Dominik's first big move, Winslow. That had a domino effect into taking Benn over Gronkowski.

The other 25 have plenty to do with it. How many teams picking in the 1st round would give us their pick for McCoy today? Most of them. Funny how you come on here telling us all how much McCoy's new contract will be because his skill demands that in the market, but then say we shouldnt have picked him because the value isnt there. If all these other teams are going to set the value at him higher than his rookie contract (according to you) then they must know something. Just like I know you are talking out of both sides of your mouth.
Yeah, the Bucs should have just not picked anyone at #3, let a few other teams make picks after them, and then draft a player to save a few bucks. That would have been great.
Yasinkkksass nails another article.......shiiiiiiiiittttt!!!!!

Yea, can we push for JC5100 to be the new GM? I want to experience what its like to be a Browns fan.

In retrospect you wouldn't pass and then pick Earl Thomas later? Are you really going to tell me that. You wouldn't trade McCoy for Earl Thomas and $50M of cap space?
I want to experience what its like to be a Browns fan.
You did. 2009-2013.

Remind me what years Freeman was our QB again?

In retrospect, absolutely. But life doesnt work that way. In retrospect we could go back and take a lot of people that got drafted later on for less money. If you want to be pissed about a high pick, be mad about the Cadillac selection.
