You were against pretty much anything Dom did. I dont recall ever seeing a positive remark from you about any of his picks or signings. If you hated him so much what does it matter if we have 1 Revis or 6 "others"? You still bang the drum today about McCoy not being a good pick...what makes us think you would have been happy with any move?
So I disagreed with Dominik on just about everything, the team sucked, he got fired... and I'm wrong?
On everything? No. On some things? Yes. Serious question for you. Since the list is so small, can you give us the few things you liked that he did? If any?
I liked moving down and still getting Barron. But he even screwed that up. Bucs were picking #5, Rams #6 (after huge trade with Redskins), Jaguars #6. There was an article about how Jeff Fisher wanted Blackmon and went ballistic because Dominik traded #5 to Jacksonville without calling the Rams. He could have gotten more from St. Louis. David was a good pick.
So because he didnt call Fisher means automatically he would have gotten a better offer from STL? Thats a fairly big assumption. So two things in the entire Dom era you liked...and both happened in the same 2 day span? Wow these past few years must have been miserable for you. No wonder you are so angry and bitter online.
Fisher being so mad Dominik didn't call means we would have gotten more than a #4 and #7, yes.
I haven't read all 6 pages, but saw how the first 2 went . . . .
Spartan, if you stopped at page 2 then you missed a lot. In pages 3 through 5 I owned Mayhem and took his lunch money. You should go back and read it; it was pretty funny to see a "know it all" get owned.

Internet speculation at its finest. If Dom didnt call him, he had no idea what was being offered. Sounds more like Jeff was pissed he didnt get invited to the party moreso than he was waiting to offer up more than an amount he didnt know.
I want to experience what its like to be a Browns fan.
You did. 2009-2013.
Remind me what years Freeman was our QB again?
4-17 without him.
I'm curious: obviously you would have liked keep Freeman. How big of a contract do you think he deserved? 10 a year? 12? 14? More?
I wouldn't have re-signed him yet, I would have put him in rehab.
Okay, so once he's done with rehab, what kind of QB money has he earned, on a yearly basis, in your opinion?

If you want to blame someone, blame the NFL draft rules. If only they would allow teams with a lower selection toinitiate the call, then Fisher could have taken the bull by the horns. Instead he had to twiddle his thumbs waiting for Dominik to call. Oh, and you have to call the other teams in reverse order, from lower to higher. Dominik was plain worn outby the time he called teams #32 thru #7, he just didn't have the energy left to call Fisher. Damn draft rules!

Is that really how they have to do it? I honestly had no idea there were rules regarding pick trading like that.

I had no idea either until JC pointed it out with Fisher. I could be making the rest of it up, but I know JC knows the rules backwards and forwards so I know he would'nt have suggested that Fisher had to wait for Dom's call unless it were true.

I was gonna ask the same thing, but then thought maybe he was just being sarcastic. That's ridiculous.

I have not been able to find anything online that says this is how things are done during the draft.

8. Puts him in middle of the league. Carson Palmer, Alex Smith territory.
lol
Another thread where JC is bashing the first All Pro the team has drafted in a decade while still slurping Freeman? Stunning.

Im guessing there's some serious OCD there. Unless things get done "his way" then he isnt happy.

Or how about a way that doesn't resemble the Raiders and Redskins and results in a thing called the playoffs?
