Judging by the lack of comments here, I am guessing I am not the only one with absolutely zero interest in this story. I wonder if fans of the Pats would be as disinterested if this was about their coach

So Schiano is a family man and a man of faith. So was Dungy, so is Lovie. It's not the similarities that matter, it's the differences. They can coach in the NFL. Schiano? Not so much.

He would have been less so if he didn't win. There are a lot of "good guys" out there that aren't good football coaches. It's only feel good story when the subject of it is one.
This is the difference between Coach Schiano and say.. Ray Perkins. Coach Schiano is a quality person, whereas Perkins was an absolute butthole.
There are a lot of coaches with good beliefs and generally nice guys.But that doesn't win football games.
