Schiano will do fine with the Patriots. Just wasn't ready to be a NFL head coach. I give him credit for establishing some discipline for a team that had the inmates running the asylum with Rah and Dom. Like the hire of Smith and the house cleaning.
a high school coach could have done that...
I wonder if only the LBs will have to have their toes on the line and only the LBs meeting will the temp be 76.54328 degrees. What a tool bag.
Are his future payouts from the Bucs dependent on his continued unemployment?
Havok +1.

Good point which explains how bad the hires of Rah RAH and Dom were...
Can't wait to see the looks on LeGarrette's and Talib's faces.
Maybe this will turn out to be Spygate 2. Bellicheck sent Schiano to the Bucs to get Blount and Talib, Mike Williams was next, but Schiano was stopped....

If his contract is typical for that of an NFL employee, the Pats would have to give him a contract that paid him a respectable amount for the position he takes. Since he is still getting paid by the Bucs, it will be on the low end of the average for the job. The Bucs then make up the difference. So for example if the Pats pay him $400,000 to coach linebackers, the Bucs are on the hook for $2.6 mil. The Pats could pay him less by making him a "Consultant," like Steve Spagnulo was last year in Baltimore. Either way, he'll make $3 million this year. Even if he sits on his couch.
