Unfortunately we're many pieces away from a middle of the pack offense
No we are not
So you think a guard, 2nd WR and starting RB (whom by many metics isn't as effective as the guy we currently have playing) are going to take this offense from 32nd to 15th?
We are only a couple pieces away from being the 30th ranked offense...
LOL
Schiano still thinks like a college coach. If you just out-recruit you can win even if your scheme predates television
Yea...that and in-game/halftime adjustments are overrated...Recruit (draft and develop with a sprinkle of FA) and you'll be good to go...

I think with those guys back and better QB play we could be middle of the pack on offense. That could be Glennon or another option.
Yup. Back to mediocre. Yup. That's where we want to be.Yay for being average! Yaaaaay.^that's what you sound like olaf.

I know reading comprehension isn't your strong point, but I didn't even bring up the "middle of the pack offense" thing let alone say that is what we should aim for. Why don't you get a jump on rooting for another team next year just in case schiano is back next year? At this point you "sound like" the teacher from Charlie Brown ..... wah, wah wah, wah wah wah .......
If only we still had Bennett.
But while we are on it, Baltimore's offense was probably considered middle of the pack last year and that worked out pretty well. Shall we look at the Giants defense in 2011? Or how about that 2002 Bucs offense?

Agree with that. If only schiano hadn't been bamboozled by those high draft picks on d lineman prior to his arrival.
Can you honestly say that with a healthy Carl Nicks, a healthy Mike Williams, and another decent reciever our offense wouldn't be way better? I think some of you (intentionally or not) downplay how much injuries have hurt this team.
Every team has to deal with injuries. It's a fairly even playing field.

Yes, when you're dead last one year, average is acceptable the next.

The BAL offense was mid pack but Flacco went buck wild in the playoffs so they didn't play like the same offense they were during the season. I guess you can hope for a similar transformation of your mediocre offense into an unstoppable scoring machine in the playoffs.
They also fired their OC halfway through the season I believe.

I agree in theory, but there is a pretty big difference between a team with 5 players on IR and a team with 13 or 14.
