Well no... We played one of the most talented teams in the country in a rematch which historically don't go your way.
Don't get me wrong, we got our asses handed to us... But we should be playing a lower ranked team.

Completely dominating performance. The last two games, your boys have looked like the team most people thought they were at the beginning of the year. They are loaded and finally playing like it.
Do you trust Ryan Day enough to say they will continue to dominate like they should? I have my doubts.
OSU was more prepared and in rhythm. Ducks were flat and had no game plan. Still a great year but sour end.
Sucks we lost Evan Stewart in pregame warm up too. He's our deep threat so OSU was able to make us one dimensional.
Defense was lost all game in zone. Reminded me of Todd Bowles.
Gabriel getting tipped balls and running into sacks reminded me of Baker.

Believe Ryan Day & Chip Kelly have figured some things out (like throw 4 the ball, early & often). Think the defense can be really dominant. And while Texas is obviously pretty good, I don’t think we’ll face a more explosive team than Oregon in the playoffs.
Anything can happen against the best talent/coaching staffs in CFP, but I’m trusting this team this season more than I have since Day became HC.

This Buckeye team can win several different ways - almost like they were either sandbagging - or maybe due to Chip coming in later than expected maybe caused a delay. We were going with Bill O’Brien, even though he wasn’t in place more than a couple of weeks - that was time that Chip was still on staff at UCLA.
Will Howard is playing to his strengths, but haven’t been impressed with the designed runs Chip’s come up with.
Our o-line is a bit weaker than I’d like - but the quick pass game, focusing on getting Jerimiah Smith involved early - and our running attack helps alleviate that a bit.
And as long as we’ve gotten the cover zero out of Knowles…we should be good.

Tez Johnson isn’t the big play, deep threat? He’s both fast and quick.
I like both Stewart and Johnson as NFL prospects.

We use Tez for wr screen, check downs, and 3rd down conversions while Stewart goes over the top of the defense.
So basically our offense is elite when they are both out there and middle of the pack when one is missing.
I think they're both solid prospects but Johnson's frame scares me ala Tank Dell.
Would prefer Stewart if we went that route but I'm not sure we should spend any draft capital on wrs before the 3rd round.

We could have used 3 weeks to come out with an actual game plan instead of running the exact same offense we've run all year.
Defense couldn't communicate with the motion (something PSU also exploited so they saw that)... And they refused to play man and refused to have Mohammed shadow Smith in man so overall the game planning just sucks.
I think losing Stewart is bigger than anyone realizes. When we have Holden/Tez/Stewart we are a different team... All NFL prospects.
But our offensive line got dominated, then James got hurt and it was over before halftime.
I said this after your first score on 3 plays that we should not punt... 1 because our punter (as you saw) is so fucking bad but 2 because we weren't gonna stop you. I could tell our defense would be lost all game.
So third and 1 on that first drive then we punt I was saying go for it.
We had none of our identity that game... And I really think it's a huge disadvantage to have the bye week and 3 weeks off and ours was exacerbated by only playing 2 games in 4 weeks on top of that.
Just shitty all around but these excuses are dwarfed by how bad we played. I didn't want OSU so right when I saw the bracket I was praying Tenn would win.
