When you compare Murphy's production he gradually increased his production 2011 6.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss, 2012 10 sacks and 18 tackles for loss and as a senior this past season 15 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss.

Also I think some need to keep in mind the both Lovie and Frazier rely on just the front four to get pressure. So a player like Donald next to McCoy destroying the middle as they stop the run on the way to the QB could well be a good thing and also give the Bucs an advantage with two defensive tackles who can rush the passer thus making life a little easier on the edges making opposing offense having to pick their poison..

I agree that it's good that Sam had longer arms than you'd normally expect for someone his height - in fact, it might be close to a requirement.I was just disagreeing that 33.25" arms are freakish for a DE.
Said freakish for a guy who is 6'1"....not DEs.
