McCaron not attending is the kiss of death to his NFL career.

Really? He had nothing really to gain by going. He has 34 games or so of tape to watch.

Eric Galko ?@OptimumScouting 5m#SeniorBowl North practice winners: OT Zach Martin, WR Josh Huff, ILB Chris Borland, DT Aaron Donald, and .CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste

I'd seen huff as a 175-180 pounder I thought, or was that another Oregon player?

he had a lot to gain because no one is talking about him as a first rounder like he thinks he is apparently.  But in reality going there would have probably just hurt him.

I think he was expected to be about 5'11" 200lbs. I love him. No idea why he has been projected as a 6th or 7th round pick so far, but I see that CBS Sports has already moved him up to a 5th round prospect, and I think he'll end up being in that large group of WRs expected to go in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

Matt Miller ?@nfldraftscout 3mMinnesota DT Hageman really impressed me today. Violent. Did a good job exploding low. Needs to get free better as a pass rusher, but wow.Matt Miller ?@nfldraftscout 4mMiami QB Stephen Morris noticeably worse than Boyd and Thomas as a Passer today. Not fluid, no placement.

Seems consensus is that DT Donald, OT Martin, WR Huff, and LB Ford were the stand outs today.

he played with one of the best OLs in CFB during his tenure. scouts want to see how he throws in person and when hes not getting all the time in the world. McCarron made a HUGE mistake by not participating and has been blasted by every Draft site for it. in person analysis > tape as far as scouts are concerned

SHOCKERI laughed my ass off when Mayock was trying to say hes a great thrower and that he kept Miami in the game against FSU in the game this year. He cost Miami any chance when he threw two horrendous pciks in the 2nd half. kid is terrible. I was in the stands for that game and as soon as he let the ball go I told my dad it was a pick and sure as can be our DBs took the ball away

so... what youre saying is... the only thing that could've happened is his stock could've gone down.

he could have answered the questions about his game and improved it but now its plummeting. he shows a lack of arm strength on tape and is leaving a lot of questions about his capability. Scouts HATE unanswered questions. hes prolonging the inevitable.to me hes better off showing up and getting feedback about what hes got to work on and then showing improvement at the Combine and the Pro Day. Scouts like to see improvement. He also is screwing himself because the spot he vacated is taken by Jimmy Garropolo who now has a chance to pass McCarron. McCarron is showing multiple negative things1. he looks arrogant by thinking hes a top 20 pick2. hes shying away from competition3. he appears to not like to work outside his comfort zone
