Haason Reddick has changed positions plenty of times. He's only 6'1. 16 sacks in regular season, another 3.5 in the playoffs. Let me guess, doesn't count and I'm an idiot for wanting to have signed him. Only had a $3.7M cap number.
Moving White to OLB is so obvious. He can't diagnose pass concepts fast enough but he can get to the QB. You guys will just argue any argument I make for the hell of it. Someone bring up that Orlando Brown thread again.
White is a great athlete but in terms of pass rushing his "signature" sack is basically a delayed rush up the middle. Even playing traditional LB his highlights are usually him in zone tackling an underneath pass or him busting through an opening in the line to tackle for a loss. He is a downhill fast guy, not a one on one rushing technician. This is Arians on White pass rushing through holes ON THE BLITZ:
“It’s one thing to blitz, it’s another thing to blitz tentatively,” Arians said. “He does not blitz tentatively anymore. He’s a force when he’s coming, but he also knows when that [running] back might be chipping or leaking out. And that hurt him in the past. Now he knows exactly when he can go. He’s matured into one heck of a player.”
Arians also added the White has done a much better job of finding creases to get through.
You can also find Arians talking about the idea of White rushing on the edge and saying he needs to develop a counter etc.
It matters that Parsons is longer, faster and has played DE. It also matters that WHITE is basically a downhill guy

It also matters that Devin White can not play MLB because he's that bad.

This post (IN BOLD) is the reason you're so whack. "Can not play MLB" does NOT equal "can play DE" anymore than "David moved LB roles" equates to "MLB becomes DE."
Its whack because you're now literally CRYING ("you guys will just argue any argument I make for the hell of it."), but only AFTER calling other people idiots (Does that help your low IQ thinking understand the move?) when all along you are the one pushing the illogical point . . with arguments like "they moved LVD"
I don't think there is a poster in this thread who thinks White is a great $100 million MLB

This thread was bogged down by ignorance and you're the main one.

Those position "changes" have mostly been in title only. He's had pretty much the same responsibilities since being drafted and entering the league. This isn't the comparison you think it is.
You wanted to sign a guy that went 2.5 sacks, 4.0 sacks, 1.0 sack, and then busted out to 12.5 sacks after ARI declined his fifth-year option? That doesn't sound like you, because you rail against that ad nausea on here. But maybe you did. Who I do remember you wanting to sign was Marcus Smith, who is out of the NFL right now. Odd that you don't bring him up very much.

I'm agreeing with you that a position change may work for him. I'm just also acknowledging that it may not, for a couple legitimate reasons you don't want to acquiesce.
Orlando Brown - is that the "blue-chip" prospect that was drafted 83rd overall? Good call. Round 3 - where all of the blue-chippers are drafted. He was quite the blue-chip prospect.

easy Mr PPPaul
Just fucking trade him and move on... he isn't good. He's just like Kwon Alexander. Liability in coverage, overpersues, poor angles, good athlete, makes splash plays the simps drool over.
