SR pointed this out very early in the season and he was 100% right.

Shaq was much more natural and effective rushing from RE/ROLB last year...literally the league leader in sacks. And I lost count how many strip sacks.

People wonder why his sack numbers and overall impact is down.

QB's can see Shaq much easier from the right side, he's much more consistent winning his 1 on 1's than JPP, but since he's at LE QBs just manuever the pocket away from his pressure with not a lot heat coming from JPP's side. Shaq is having to mirror QBs that see him coming, when at RE he can just sneak/hunt them down from the blind side.

JPP was against a backup LT last night and just couldn't bring enough heat on Goff. And I know JPP has good sack #'s but that doesn't mean he's better at RE than Shaq. Plus JPP did extremely well at LE last year, I don't see the reason for the switch.

Shaq is just not as natural or fluid at LE, watch his tape last year compared to this year. The way he bends the corner is night & day better at RE.

This is not talked about enough. It should have been reverted back weeks ago. I hate this bonehead coaching staff...
