Has anyone watched Washington this year? What are your thoughts on Shaq Thompson? He had a nice combine and is getting buzz at LB, SS and RB. There are strong concerns about his size but perhaps those can be mitigated in this defense. It was painful watching this defense get torched by Heath Miller last year, and we have two of the best pass catching tight ends in the division. While I wouldn't expect any linebacker to excel at covering these guys, perhaps Thompson would be better suited than most. Additionally we've heard rumors about Foster being allowed to walk. Admittedly I haven't zoned in on him and was more focused on ASJ when watching Washington in the past so I can't comment from personal experience, but draft breakdown has several videos on him and I will be viewing them when I have a chance. Say we bring in James Carpenter, Joseph Barksdale and target Laken Tomlinson in the third. If there's no pass rusher of value at 34, do you think Shaq could fit in this defense? If only Lovie had experience with a LB/S hybrid. Hmm
