The Chiefs didnt need 5 years to turn around.
The Chiefs were one and done in the playoffs, not a final 8 team.

They were 2-14 the previous year.
We just need to cut dead weight with guys that have low ceilings or not producing like Bowers, Dawson, DTN, Landri, Gibson, Shepard, Page, Larsen, Stocker, Crabtree, Leonard :( LJ... Guys like that should be replaced. We don't have to blow things up completely.
This is reasonable. As far as those suggesting we cut every OL. You are off base. We need two guards really bad. Zuttah is going to be better with two decent guards next to him. He didn't have a bad year playing next to suck last year. Getting rid of the entire OL except for the average run blocking RT is ludicrous. Better coaching along with upgrades at OG and we will be set. The other cuts should be cap casualties. JosephRevis (trade)NicksKoenan possibly. We don't need to blow the entire roster up in one year. The main reason why it that you would be hard pressed to replace them in one year. More than likely it will be a two year process to purge the team of the Dominik trash.

Cognizant of that. But really faded badly at the end.
This thread is ridiculous. Get rid of of Doug Martin? Please give me some of what you are smoking. There is quite a bit of talent on this team. They just have to learn to play as a team

i dont see the big deal. RBs are a dime a dozen. they run through holes. some see holes a little better than others, but does doug really do that? he seems to be a great kid and teammate, a hard worker. but if you give me a 2nd round pick? i could use that chance on a much more beneficial position.
Can we blow up our crappy fan base instead ?
It's amazing how our fan base, in a matter of two years, goes from thinking we should draft a RB in the top 5.....to thinking a great RB is so easily replaceable and insignificant that we should trade ours for a 2nd round pick. Smh. Some of you all are ridiculous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGxG7UTadSg

YPC this year so same lousy team, same suck offensive line and stupid offensive scheme so don't tell me about all those problems:Mike James 4.9 ypcBrian Leonard 3.9 ypcBobby Rainey 3.9 ypcDoug Martin 3.6 ypcYeah, he's indispensible. I know he had a good 2012 but he also piled but 317 carries, anyone would look good with that many rushes. For a 1 or 2 I trade him so fast Usain Bolt couldn't catch me.
Mike James is a baller. Shame he broke his foot.

It is...but at least its not a knee ligament.
You all ever see this video? It's Doug and Mike James. Kinda cool. Wish they'd edit it and add Rainey though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRC6TfUdv-M
McCoy, David, Revis...only 3 that should be considered safe. Everyone else at this point is expendable in my eyes. That includes Mark Barron. That includes Doug Martin. If Trent Richardson can be had for a 1st we might be able to get at least that for Martin. No one should be safe on the 32nd ranked offense.
Why in the world would you get rid of Martin? He is one of the big bright spots on this offense, that makes ZERO sense
