Marcus Mariota Is More Marketable Than Jameis Winston, According to NFLPA by Jose Martinez 1h ago Market_Zpsf2Df08Ff.jpgIn the end, talent trumps everything, but here’s an interesting little tidbit of information. Recently, JoeBucsFan.com came across a press release for the “Rising 50,” exploring the next crop of young talent in the league or those ready to make the leap, and their marketability potential. The list comes from the NFL Players Inc., the marketing and licensing arm of the NFLPA. The intention is to give the league’s sponsors, future partners, etc. an idea as to who they should invest their money in going forward. It’s also important to note that each player can only appear once. Currently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have only one player in the top 25 and it’s Mike Evans. But, if the Bucs take one of the top two quarterbacks, Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota, in this year’s draft, they will have someone in the top 10. According to the NFLPI Rising 50 list, Winston comes in at No. 8 while Mariota is behind only Odell Beckham Jr. and Le’Veon Bell at No. 3. There’s really nothing to dispute about why Mariota ended up with a higher ranking than Winston. The former Oregon Ducks quarterback is extremely humble, a class act and says the right things in press conferences. Meanwhile, Jameis is, well, we all know about his off-the-field issues. Here is the rest of the top 10: 1.  Odell Beckham Jr. 2.    Le’Veon Bell 3.    Marcus Mariota 4.    Antonio Brown 5.    T.Y. Hilton 6.    Jeremy Hill 7.    Mike Evans 8.    Jameis Winston 9.    Randall Cobb 10.  Kelvin Benjaminlink
