Looks like Bucs are shutout of NFL Top 100 for 2017

The latest reveal of the NFL “Top 100” for last season took place Monday night on the NFL Network, and now that 30-21 have come and gone, one thing is apparent: the Buccaneers are almost certainly going to go without a player on the list.
We say almost certainly, because Pro Bowl DT Gerald McCoy has an razor thin chance that he will be in the 20-11 reveal next week, but it’s highly unlikely. We wrote previously that the Bucs might go without a name coming up from their peers voting and get shutout.
And, as the names LeSean McCoy of the Bills, Matt Ryan of the Falcons and A.J. Green of the Bengals rolled off on Monday night, it became more obvious that Tampa Bay won’t get a player in the 100.
In fact, McCoy himself took to social media on Monday night to lament the lack of one of his teammates being put on the list:

In previous years McCoy’s name, along with teammates LaVonte David, Mike Evans and Jameis Winston has been on the “Top 100.” Not from this past season, where the team woefully underachieved to a 5-11 record.
Now, the Bucs are not alone in not having a player on the list so far. The Browns, the Colts and the Jets have not had a player in the previous 80 over the last eight weeks, either. And, it’s unlikely that those teams have anyone in the top 20.
The Jaguars have had four names already: Yannick Ngakoue, Telvin Smith, Leonard Fournette and A.J. Bouye. And, they should get two more with Calais Campbell and Jalen Ramsey.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins had two on the list in Jarvis Landry (now with the Browns) and Ndamukong Suh (now in L.A.), who no longer on all the roster.
Still, it stings more for the Buccaneers, who were projected to be a playoff team and had been featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” So, as McCoy points out, it’s curious that the Bucs haven’t had a single player so far and apparently didn’t get a player at all.
And with the names Brady, Rodgers, Gurlery, Prescott and Ramsey to name a few, coming over the next two weeks, the reality is reality.
