It's the NFL that is busted with imbecilic rules that require digital eyes.  I get that he has to learn to change the way he hits. But letting a receiver get control of the ball near the sidelines for a catch is just a stupid rule, and at that point, I do not fault Goldson for wanting to knock the piss out of the guy.  The rule is broken.  And it is slowly killing the game, and that is my opinion.  It will eventually turn people away if it keeps regressing into an arena league style event.  Which it is clearly headed towards, via use of non-contact rules that completely should be the cause for an asterisk to be put in front of QBs names that have played in the last few seasons...all these records getting busted are not a coincidence nor fate.  They are created. He was flagged on the last one and it looked sketchy to me. It is clear the refs aren't doing there work when they see Hawk start his descent...I agree he lacks coverage skills when the pass rush is lacking.  I agree that he needs to revert to pop warner basics in terms of his tackling form, and just leave it at that.  Rather than be a liability by giving away free chunks of field, he can just form tackle and be boring. It will suit the defense just fine, until the NFL changes the rules by getting players to sign waivers!!

A big part of the problem on hitting allegedly defenseless players is the refs are TOLD to call it even when they think it MIGHT be the right call. Not to worry if they're wrong. Guessing at what you see when officiating is now OK...

He is a nice player, his dad played in the NFL for many years.  And I don't think the Bills will tag him again, it will get too expense.  They could offer him a long term deal, but from the sounds of it, he would respond to that with a big F-you.  I would love to have him, but what do you do with hammering Hank ?

He only had like 6 fouls all year, roughly half of what McCoy had. Jimmy Graham and others commented on how they didn't like going over the middle against us. Not sure why people have such a problem with Gholdson.

People in the secondary SHOULD have half the penalties someone on the D-line has.  Really, safeties should have less than half the penalties that someone on the D-line has.  So comparing penalties to McCoy is slightly ridiculous.  Plus the fact that he had more penalty yardage than McCoy.
