Should the Bucs retain Dotson for one more year?

Since may people view Donovan Smith and Dotson in many different ways, I'll just use PFF ratings as an independent party grader.

2019:
LT Smith = 70.8
LG Marpet = 72.3
C Jensen = 79.3
RG Cappa = 62.7
RT Dotson = 71.0

If Smith and Dotson are similar players, then is it a dire necessity to draft a LT at 14th overall? We have needs at RG, RT, and DB (Safety or CB). What if the BPA with need at 14th isn't a LT? Do you still reach for a LT at 14th?

If we re-sign Dotson, then we kinda extend the window on needing a RT today. In fact, we could take an OT in the 2nd round, but ease him in at RG. Let Cappa be the backup C/OG. A year later, then the RG can slide into the RT position and the Bucs can draft an RG in 2021 while shifting Cappa to Center once we cut ties with Jensen due to cap savings.

Letting the rookie acclimate at guard for a season or even half a season before transitioning to RT could prove beneficial in the long run.
