Part of me thinks that the NFL wants there to be some weather element for this game.  I think the excessive discussion about the topic, leading up to the game, has been good for the league.  As the old saying goes, "Careful what you wish for."  A significant snow storm could have the reverse effect on the game and it will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.I'll watch regardless but I believe there will be a spike in viewership if the game is played on a snowy, frozen field.

LORD no!! Bad weather just makes it more epic! Like God (The Seahawks fan) and Satan (The Broncos fan) are waging war over deciding who's going to win, the teams having to deal with the clashing elements rocking the foundation of the game!

Play on.. They wanted it there and they knew the risk. I hope there is damn blizzard that rolls in right after kickoff. Play on!Most Regular fans can't afford to go to that game anyway, so let those execs sit out there and freeze.

Here, here!!

This might be the year a large number of actual fans of the teams get to go to the Super Bowl in person. I can't imagine too many corporate execs wanting to sit out in the cold and rain/snow. Maybe that frees up tickets. I want a camera constantly on Goodell, though, as he has promised to sit outside with the commoners. He better not go into a suite to warm up! :)

No thats bull**CENSORED** for the working class that has bought tickets but must return to work that following week. Most people that bought tickets can't just take the next week off work. Plans have been made, hotels booked, airline tickets booked. Play through the weather and learn your lesson next time around.

They are talking about moving it to Sat or Mon, so it wouldn't throw plans off all that much.

Plenty of people will be arriving the day before and leaving the day after.  It's a major issue.

Could Hawaii handle a Super Bowl?

Accommodations and amenities wise, sure.  And then some.  The time difference is 5 hours this time of year though, and frankly that stadium scares me.  I worry it will fall down if too many people get in it.  And it only sits 50k.  But if they could work around that it would be awesome.  Make it a regular thing too, neutral site, weather is usually perfect.

Love to see it happen.Know that it won't happen. This time Seattle is going to lose without the refs needing to get involved.

The only thing that postpones football is lightning or a hurricane ....that's how it's always been. This is a man's game , and you have to be able to play in the elements. This should not even be a serious question.

-20 would be nice....medi-vacs for mild hypothermia would be even better......How long will coffee or hot chocolate stay hot in that wasteland? I'll most likely go fishing in the A.M. ....in shorts...Can't wait to hear the whine from Joe Buck.

If they really think the weather is going to be bad for the game and league execs are worried about it, they shouldn't have scheduled it there in the first place.Just another example of Goodell trying to fix things that aren't broken (London, not allowing Super Bowl players to participate in a Pro Bowl because it's now the week before, 18 game season, extra playoff team, list goes on and on and on and on and on.)

Regardless of weather, I think every year should be Super Bowl Saturday. Love the idea of being able to hang out at whatever SB party I go to and not worry about getting up early for work the next day.
