Preseason is finally over! Super excited for the regular season debut. This board has been so up and down, mostly down - but rightfully so. This team was awful and the worst team in the NFL last year. But Why no optimism? We should be better as a fan base. THIS IS A NEW YEAR and we've selected a former Hesiman Trophy, National Championship winning QB to lead this franchise in the right direction. That's huge. On offense, our O-line is still a weakness, but surely the talent has improved from last year. They will take their lumps, especially the rookies but I'm confident an experienced competent OC like Koetter will help tremendously. We have 2 stud receivers and Doug Martin is practicing/running like he did as a rookie. On defense, our D-line is still a weakness, but the talent has significantly improved, especially along the interior line. I'm expecting a big year for McCoy. Linebackers are solid and secondary has quality depth. Call me crazy, but I've been very impressed with L&L this offseason. They cut last year's FA mistakes, had a solid draft, and have brought in multiple bargain low risk-high reward defensive FA's. Take the preseason with a grain of salt. The NFC South is wide open and I'm expecting 6-8 wins this season. This season is going to be fun!!!
