Anyone else...just simply at a Loss. If losing to the Lions wasnt gut punch enough, our up and coming bright offensive mind leaves after just one year...gut punch #2. That makes our FA resignings just that much more difficult- especially QB and ME13-will that be gut punch #3.
Its been awhile since Ive felt this at a loss...the last time may have been Schianos first game Year 2, the "Tennessee ready" may have been close...The Carolina game when they rushed for like 400 yards and then our run D was just downright horrible for years and years during the Chucky SP SB Dark Ages- yeah that span of run defense was gut wrenching.

Heres another. I just started reading this weeks Fab 5- Solid work thus faR s'R! Pete Carroll for OC or HC- Dave Canales Boss, that would make sense if we wanted to keep continuity on the Offense AND Defense- Could have him come in as HC and demote Bowles to DC. Might actually work out better, Carrol is Older than Canales...but also more SEASONED. He's got a couple rings, might be the best Single Chess move we can make given the Cards in our hands and the ones that wE can SeE from the leagues hands. In one move we can keep conti'nuity for TB. Ca=HC/OC, B=DC...then just work on resigning and the systems should be very similar. Carrol is also a winner, MUCH MORE SO than BOWLES. Bowles should gracefully request the DC position so he can Focus on Elephant style Defense, and pass the HC torch to someone who can coach on the biggest stages....and, knows how to call a time out (maybe?).
Monken IS INTRIGUING AF. I remember him when he was here, but lost track of him- Hes the OC for LLAMAR...yeah that could work.

Lol, easy to find words for this fiasco, the questions is, what are our options? I’d rather not have Bowles sit atop the perch after what we witnessed. At this point I would simply be content with resigning the players we Need, and trying to maintain a modicum of offensive identity from last year, resetting the offense AGAIN, at this point, will put us back into the post Gruden SB year dark ages, every year got worse because the team was just a Jag of a team, fodder for the contenders. That over time can become an organizational mentality, the Bears, Browns, Vikings, Jets, NYG, Carolina…can’t settle for that in a winner take all game.
