In a heartbreaking loss, the Bucs fell to the Falcons 29-28, even after Atlanta committed a staggering 19 penalties. Last week, the Falcons were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, while the Bucs were fighting for their playoff lives. Yet, despite the stakes, the Bucs allowed over 300 yards and three touchdown passes to Kirk Cousins, along with a career night for tight end Kyle Pitts… who seems to reserve his best games for us, scoring three touchdowns.

Baker Mayfield threw a horrible interceptionin th 4th quarter. He also had opportunities to put the game out of reach but missed numerous passes to open receivers. It raises questions about whether he’s still nursing an injury or simply not performing at a high level.

The Falcons, despite having less to play for, showed significantly more fire than Bowles' Bucs. With this loss, the Bucs have now gone 2-6 over their last eight games. It’s clear that this team is struggling, and not much more needs to be said.

This season is slipping away, and it’s time for some serious reflection within the organization.

One thing I do know is that if we make the playoffs we deserved to be there. We have to beat the guys who want our spot(panthers). Team needs to take this as an opportunity to make the playoffs and its not gonna be given.

Some guys will respond differently when their backs are against the wall, across the board. We can either lay down and accept the slump or we can climb out the gutter and show heart. We aren't any less talented, we are lacking focus. Our team has a bit of procrastination in them where we respond best when backs are against the wall and the stakes are higher, its just how we focus.

Our Achilles Heel is the defense.  Period.  Almost 500 yards allowed.  Sickening.

it’s much more likely we are eliminated next weekend than us making playoffs bro

panthers win next 2 weeks and they clinch

Just giving a little light at the end of the tunnel of perspectives the team can take, doom and gloom mail it in or... fight

Team has to give more than what they have been given emotionally, mentally, everything has to amp up.

When a ball like that fumble with 5 bucs around eveyrsingle one of those bucs should be diving on it head first fighiting to keep the ball

When a pass is checkdown safeties needs to be screaming down to lay wood as john lynch, or jordan whitehead would

Obviously from what we've seen its more likely panthers clinch, but who knows guys just have to make the lone decision across the board to give more than what theyve been giving

If that lack of fumble recovery doesn’t show you that mailed it on, I don’t know what does

looks like injuries no excuse

mayfield regressed big time under grizz. So much that he played himself out of an extension this offseason

need to get offensive minded head coach

I think the saying is we are what we are, we have to beat the guys who want our spot its pretty much a play in.

But I know what you mean

Playoffs? Playoffs?

This team is scared of wanting to win a game the Falcons were willing to give away.

Bowles has no answer on defense. These last 8 games have been a nightmare. And his defense cannot use injuries as an excuse. We don’t have enough talent, and most of all, Bowles defense has been out-schemed. We lack coaching technicians. Our players continue to misstep, get out-leveraged, and any motion puts our defense in disarray. Thats coaching. Falcons first touchdown was another blown coverage and miscommunication. Bowles has lost his grip on the defense.

i think if Bucs are smart, they wait to see how he plays in 2026

They need someone to fix baker, and that’s an offensive minded head coach

Evans had a great game last night, but then going absolutely crazy with frustration on the sideline before the game-winning kick.

He was one of the few players last night who showed some heart and desire to win.

Baker missed throws, made mistakes but they scored 28 and had an 14 point lead with 10 minutes left. The INT while awful didn't give the Flacons a short field and they immediately went down and scored, and again when they got the ball back the second time.

I don't even know what to say about the defense. Morrison being inactive in favor of the corpse of Vildor, the soft zones after the blitz finally starting landing.

Evans looked like he wanted to murder Todd on the sidelines.

Its over for Bowles. That's the only silver lining here. He's completely lost the team.

This team has holes but there is talent on this roster. Hope Mike comes back for one more ride because he's got a ton still left in the tank.

Hire Klint Kubiak.
