I was pissed at Bowles for being up 48-14 and accepting the penalty that took yards away from Evans. The right football move but fuck man, it would have been 4th and 1, grow a pair

I could argue it wasn’t the right move. Evans caught the ball at the first down marker. He should have declined the penalty, giving Mike his yardage, and challenged the spot. The team didn’t need the timeouts.

I think getting Evans, Bucky, and JMac involved early next week will be the game plan…N.O will likely try to put a safety over the top to prevent the big play, but if they can get M1k3 some slats, comeback, or get him matched up against a LB they can chip away at that 85 yards needed while also moving the ball consistently.
