I'll skip over the obvious QB selection in the first and start with the OL here. We need at least a Tackle and a OG and it doesn't look like we will be big players in FA. Don't know if DJ Humphries is still considered a 2nd rounder since his stock has really soared but he is one I'd consider. Eric Flowers being a close second. But again, possible both these guys could go in the first. La'el Collins is another probable first rounder that I would love to see fall to 34. If these guys aren't there then Id probably go in another area. Two guys that I think are probably 3rd rounders that I see converting to OG are Daryl Williams and Donovan Smith. I like either there. Jamon Brown would be a guy Id consider in the 4th or later. Jamil Douglas and Shaq Mason are two later round guys I kind of like. As for RBs, Mike Davis from South Carolina is a guy I like but I wouldn't take him before the 5th. Really wouldn't address the position until the late rounds unless an incredible value presents itself. WR/TEs: well if the OTs I like in the 2nd aren't there Jaelan Strong is a WR I really like and can see being avail. at 34. Probably a #2 WR, this guy can be a legit starter in the league. Devin Smith is a speed guy I like by the 3rd. Would be more of a #3 guy but can play out of the slot or on the outside. Like RB, the position isn't high on my priority however. Not a great class for TEs and again not a big need so I probably don't address but I do like some mid round guys like 2 way TE Clive Waldford or Blocking TE Randal Tefler. Jeff Heuerman and Ben Koyack also have some potential. DL is an area we could obviously use some help on (namely DE) but I don't like this class outside the first round talent and I hate to say it but don't think any of the mid round guys are worth taking over other positions. Probably an area Id address in FA. There are going to be good talent avail. at DT but its probably just not a strong enough need. But I do like Micheal Bennett-Ohio State at a UT and Grady Jarrett-Clemson and Carl Davis-Purdue as NTs. LB is a need but unlike a lot of you here I would not use the 34th on one. None of them are that good. I see the usual names brought up (Perryman, Kendricks, Dawson, Anthony) as more 3rd round talent but they might go 2nd. I would probably address in FA but Jake Ryan is a mid round guy I like. Don't know if he's starter material (he might be) but he can make a roster and is very versatile. Arkansas's Martrell Spaight is a later round guy that might be worth looking at as well as Georgia's Amarlo Herrera. But we are talking STs and backup here. Same with Mike Hull. DBs: Safety is a need and you can never have enough CBs so I am wanting to draft some talent here. Not a great Safety class but a guy I like 3rd round or later is Penn State's Adrian Amos at FS. At SS Jaquiski Tartt is a small school guy that looks intriguing 3rd or later. Another thought I had for addressing FS is converting Alex Carter-Stanford over from CB. Probably a 3rd round or later kind of guy. Has enough size and toughness and might be better suited anyways to playing Safety. Same thing with USC's Josh Shaw. Craig Mager-Texas St. and Utah's Eric Rowe are some more CBs that might be converted to Safety. Now if the OTs I like aren't there in the 2nd I think CB might be the best position group to look at at 34. The two FSU guys, Kevin Johnson, and Marcus Peters. D'Joun Smith-FL Atlantic in 3rd round or later as well as Steven Nelson from Oregon. A little later in the draft Bobby McCain-Memphis, Ohio States Doran Grant, JaCorey Shepard-Kansas, and even Central Florida's Jacoby Glenn. Hell, I wouldn't mind even giving Nick Marshall a chance, but not before the 5th. Tenn. Justin Coleman and Clemson's Garry Peters on day 3.
