Are the Patriots that good or are teams beating themselves. During last year's Superbowl ATL had a nice lead then Shannahan just started calling the most ridiculous plays that prevented ATL from running out the clock. Freedman had success on the ground and he still chose to pass in the final quarter with a lead. Now with Jacksonville, they had three separate drives on offense where at least a field goal could have helped them win. Yet they had to put the ball all three drives allowing the Pats to come back. The part that gets me is it seems like the Pats are winning from teams stupidity and doing nothing special on their end.
Thoughts?
