Calm down....I just woke up.  It was too early to grasp that concept.  :)

That argument is so stale though. Not every championship coach posted winning records in their first couple years of being a head coach at this level. In fact, there are many coaches who started off on  a rocky path.

True.... and there are some that mastered the art of suckage from day one. How long are you willing to wait to determine which one we've been blessed with?

Plenty of people have already decided that Schiano is a bad coach.  I tend to agree with that assessment.  I do disagree with how completely they think he sucks, and I am also willing to entertain the idea that maybe our coordinators (especially on offense) are possibly a bigger issue.  Without comparing Schiano to Dungy, I do recall the offense struggling under Tony, and we all understood that it wasn't him, but the coordinators he hired that were the problem.  And he was given chances to change them.  To me, Schiano seems like a good leader, but not particularly sharp on X and O, which makes him more dependent on coordinators.  I'd still fire him, but I'm not going to pretend I'm certain he couldn't do better with better support staff.  And I'm not entirely pleased with going to yet another coach again.I'll also point out that I'm getting more sympathetic towards keeping the guy simply because of the outrageously disproportionate hate for the guy.  His record doesn't warrant the absolute hatred he gets.  People seem to blame him for everything including Global Warming.

I can agree with pretty much all of this, but I disagree a little on the last part. Yes, his record isn't absolutely dreadful when you see it's 11-18, but when you look at the talent on the roster and then check the record again, it is pretty **CENSORED**ing awful. This is a playoff roster and at one point, we were 0-8 and a lot of people were thinking 0-16 was a legit possibility. Most coaches would love to have a roster like this and I bet half of the coaches in the league would have this roster in the playoffs. The fact that it got that bad under Schiano with this roster has a lot of people ticked off with him. We've been waiting a long time to have a roster this talented and the Glazers finally spent the cash to make it happen. This was supposed to the big year where we put it all together and even management was saying this. So with the entire fanbase pumped about the year thinking this was finally the season we would make some noise, a lot of people were disappointed and furious at Schiano for starting off 0-8 and destroying everyone's high hopes. The guy gets a lot of hate, but a lot of it is deserved.

I think the Schiano haters are totally underestimating the negative affect Freeman has had on this team. It's not just 3 weeks. The 2013 Season started in early March, so any negativity and turmoil Freeman brought to this team was endured for 7 months. Not only did we bring in the best FA WR in 2012, we also brought in the best FA O-Lineman. Unfortunately fate has twisted that amazing positive into a serious negative. Also, the hilarity of the Schiano haters placing the MRSA blame on Schiano was moronic at best. Nicks was troubled with a toe injury in 2012. We have yet to get an answer after the investigation for where the MRSA came from, but if Nicks had any type of surgery on that toe last year, I'd be pointing fingers at the hospital where he had his procedure done. There is no quit in this team, and they are still fighting every weak to win games. 2 months ago many Schiano haters would have jumped at the chance to trade Schiano for Shanahan. Now that is a couch who sucks at his job. Clearly Redskins players have given up the fight to win games for their coach.

I think three years is good enough time to see what you have. The guy gets his people in there and gets rid of the guys who don't buy in. I think if he can't win next year it's time to move on.

Fair enuff!!I'm of the mindset that Freeman fukked this team over big time....if I could see it from the outside, i can only imagine how screwed up if was up close and personal.

Freeman grew up and played high school football 25 miles up the highway from me. I work with a couple guys who's kids went to school with Freeman. Myt co-workers had nothing but bad things to say about Josh, but I just didn't want to believe it. When I went to the Buccs vs Chiefs preseason game in 2011, there was a group of young guys that went to school with Freeman sitting directly behind me, and they did nothing but taunt him all game long. This was after his 10-6 season and a hair away from a playoff birth.  They were shouting things like, "Josh, your a loser. Let's go to the men's room and I'll sell you an ounce like I used to. You'd be my best customer now with your contract." Another one yelled out, "Josh remember the last time we all were at this stadium together? You never made it inside." then one of the other guys turns to that one and says, "F**k yeah, I remember that. That frigg'n drunk threw up all over my car interior." I just figured it was Chief fan jealousy that a local kid got passed up by their team who has been in dire need of a QB for a long time. Hindsight is 20/20. Everyone was praising Josh for losing all that weight to prepare himself to be a great leader and franchise QB, then we find out he's addicted to Ritalin. That would make anybody lose mass amounts of weight.

LMAO, addicted to ritalin? link? He has ADHD and a perscription for adderall and the NFL was aware of it. Its when he took ritalin and a different drug showed up other than adderall that it caused alarm. Both are for the same thing which is why he voluntarily subjected to drug testing. Now he may be a partier and likely was in college(because most college kids do), but lets not make stuff up. Makes your accounts at the game come in question, even though they are very possibly true.

Josh is no longer under center. That, alone, is a major step in the right direction.

Agreed, It is.  Now I'm just wondering what the excuse will be next year.  This team looks way better on paper than it performs.

Let's hope so because there have been far too many overhyped players on this team the past few seasons.

I'm going to have to wait until I see who the replacement might be before any celebration commences. I hear way too much around here about the joys of a new coaching staff, and not nearly enough about a better coaching staff.

Good stuff.  lol  @JennaLaineBucs Woman in the stands just greeted Schiano with "You suck, Schiano, you suck!" He seemed taken aback by it.
