Between Jake, chase, & our gunners I’d say our special teams unit is top 10?
possibly even top 5.
camarda has been up and down this year but overall has been a great punter & draft pick for us.

I think Jake has done phenomenal. I mean sure he’s shanked a few kicks, it’s the life of any punter. But for being drafted last year…I’ll take him and coach him up. In a few years Camarda may actually be a sort of weapon for us, he”ll be able to turn field position against them, let’s say he can pin them at their 5 yard line, and defense gets a 3’n’out and our field position after their punt back to us will probably be better than when we punted to them initially, that’s like taking yards from their offense, then we -lay defense, and have a chance of gaining some yardage towards the endzone on the ensuing play…simply by booming a punt and locking it down on D. Chase needs no further explanation. Has NOT missed on any 50+ yarders this year!!!! He had 2 BLOCKED, I. Eat he woulda nailed those 2 too!! Ja Ja.. our returner is doing a fine job as is our coverage and blocking on both sides of ST. Again, good things for the vast majority!!!!
Yes, we have a couple guys who can kick the ball. Jake has been phenomenal, and Camarda, although a little inconsistent, has been an asset flipping the field in more than a few games. I'd like to see more return yards, but overall, our special teams have contributed to where we are today.

I swear to god this special teams unit has been underwhelming under Armstrong. Refreshing to feel confident to know once in opponents territory we're at least walking away with 3 pts if the drive stalls. Camarda was worth the 4th round pick and I'm not a fan of drafting ST guy that high but we needed someone consistent.
When Camarda is at his best he is a weapon
was trying see what the stats say and Camarda is top 5ish in average but drops to middle of the table on a net basis.
I wonder if that is poor coverage, outkicking coverage sometimes or maybe a little of both.? Either way he’s good and our kicker … wow

We've been better lately and McLaughlin is having an absolutely ELITE year.
But punting has been literally boom or bust. Literally.
Coverage has been decent. Return have been decent...
So basically we are top 15 because McLaughlin has been awesome.
Camarda is a fucking wild card.
