I had not previously investigated Chris Smith, but I like what I see. He has good burst off the line, shows some upper body strength, can turn the corner, as well as redirect to the inside.
If the Bucs want Aaron Donald, I think they'll have to take him with their first pick in the draft. I don't see him lasting into the second round. He's a very good looking prospect.

wed better trade WAY back if we want to take him. like back to 30 type tradeback. taking him at 7 is nuts

I wasn't advocating taking Donald at seven, but I do think he'll go in the twenties - depending on his combine.

Buggsy Blackburn does not know his stuff.
Aaron Donald is similar to Mike Daniels, a fourth round pick, from last year. Mike was also projected to go in the second round, but fell to the fourth. Aaron's height will drop him in the draft, so forget about spending a first round pick.

I agree. I find it hard to believe he's going to make it into round 2. Late first rounder to me.

Dallas would be a likely landing spot since Kiffin is still there.
Dallas is one of the teams I was thinking about. Donald was one of 10 players featured in a DMN piece on players to watch at the Senior Bowl for the Cowboys.
A 6'0" 285 lbs Nose tackle is not going in the first round. He's built like Brad Culpepper, and he was drafted in the 10th round!
I'd love to draft Cyril Richardson, in the 2nd round, but he's probably going in the teens.

He is not a nose, he will play under tackle. No idea why he is being mentioned as a nose tackle. It is a total waste of his talents. Still, if he is 290 Price was drafted in what the high second so he is a better prospect than him.
Adrian Clayborn is such a mediocre pass rusher. I mean honestly even at college you could just tell he was just going to be a solid player. We were really just a few picks away from Kerrigan and Quinn. Also, there are several penetrating defensive tackles in FA this year. We sign Hatcher and we should be straight with Spence as a back-up.
We could of had Cam Jordan instead. I was pissed when we passed on him for Clayborn.
