Beaver mad.
LOL
PR trying to save Dum's job.
They're backing off of the Schiano love-fest a bit too...
It's starting. The but...but...but... crowd is showing up. They want more wasted games I guess.
There's a lot of us.
No, there aren't.
On the message boards and talk radio, not so many. That's not representative of the whole.
There is no "whole". There are plenty of people, like me, who believe Schiano was treated 100 times more poorly by the media than they ever accused him of treating Freeman. I get it. He's not the monster that the haters like to portray. But there are not "a lot" of people who want Schiano back. There are some who are willing to give him another chance after all the drama. There are those who reconciled themselves to his return. There are those who don't want to fire him because they are over the coaching carousel and will deal with suck for a year if it means not starting over faster than they can adjust to. But there are damn few who WANT him back because they believe in him. You might actually be the only one.
And that pretty much sums it up. Include me in the "there are those who reconciled themselves to his return" group. I think when Schiano sits down with the Glazers for his end of the season meeting, he'll remind them that had they listened to him, they'd have blown Josh's ass outta hear during the off-season thus landing the organization a draft pick, ridding the team of a festering cancer and moving the Glennon learing curve ahead a lil sooner..... and the Glazers will agree.

Unfortunately, I think you're right.Only thing we can do is hope things get better.
I am afraid unless we get it handed to us over the next 2 weeks that Schiano will manage to pin the entire season on Freeman who hasn't been in Tampa for 3 months.
I don't see all the "Keep Schiano" posts. I see "Crap, the Glazers are going to keep him because he won crap games." I must not be following the same fan base you are PR.
We're here. There's a lot of us. The "Keep Schiano" crowd knew the truth about all the personal attacks would eventually come out. The "keep Schiano" crowd by and large doesn't howl on the radio or scream on the message boards, but maybe more should. Regardless we're a rather large, even if a little too quiet group.
So you're cool with losing 10+ games this year because you can blame it all on a guy that hasn't been in Tampa for 3 months?
I'm cool with the future success of this team w/ a coach and leader who the media vultures tried their best to run out of town , all based on falsehoods. Added to that was the MRSA, the league leading injured reserve list, and a rookie QB. In future years he'll be judged on W-L record, but few people, in football or not in football could have weathered the storm he has. It was reported "he lost the locker-room", which we now know (some of us knew then) was the opposite of reality. It's time now to move on with a coach who can now devote 100% of his working time to football...and not all the other garbage.
He has never won a conference or division title in 13 straight years. He has an overall losing record lifetime. Point me to something...anything that says this guy is a winner. Again, I ask a Schiano supporter to provide tangible and quantifiable data points not some gut feeling or he sounds like a head coach. BS!
