Foster has been a pretty darn good lb. he's great against the run, has some pass rush, and his only weakness is his lack of speed to play the deep middle. It's something he'll likely only have to do a small portion of games, but there's a bunch of people questioning if he'll be replaced for this one weakness. Like this staff only wants deep cover mlbs. Urlacher late in his career couldn't do this either but olive seemed to work around it just fine. Foster is one of the better mlbs in the nfl right now, so I really don't think they are going to look to replace him.
I don't see them replacing him... I do see them looking at an switch or upgrade while keeping him on the roster.I think they should try Dakota out at MLB and Foster at SLB. More suited to their strengths IMO.
Watson never spent time at DE. He spent time as a 3-4 OLB and a 4-3 SLB. I have never once seen him put his hand in the dirt. When did that happen?
Dekoda Watson is awesome. I hope that we re-sign him. I really think he would be incredible in Lovie and Fresiers defense. If we did sign Allen it would have to be as a situational pass rusher and at a reduced rate. Tell him that is how you want to use him and throw a number out there. Let him test the market and if he doesn't have anyone willing to pay big bucks then sign him. There is a good chance that there are zero Superbowl contenders who would be willing to offer him big money at his age and reduced talent level.

Under Raheem and towards the end of of Schiano. He's had his hand in the dirt. He lines up in a 4point sprinter like stance.
Slov sounds like a baller!
yep. Baller!
Sammy, huge on offense! He will be gone before we pick though. Mason has been solid, has made big plays. While I think MLB needs serious competition, its nothing I would worry about right now. I cant think of any position we are deep at quality wise, other than running back.
upon further research, Slov is only half baller
