Jdud can convince himself of anything ...it's really funny to watch.
I just don't think you can pass on the other talent available for Donald unless you think he can rush from Defensive End. McCoy is too good, and it's too hard to get one and ones in the interior. That's why one guy is the nose tackle. You can't have 2 DT's shading Guards too often, you're going to get gashed even if the guys are beasts, and unless you have edge pressure guys are going to continue to leisurely step out of the pocket anyway (would you like some tuna with your roll out Collin Kapernick?) Mack will be gone, which sucks, but the Bucs have to invest in offense anyway. Draft Robinson or Matthews and stock up on speed later in the draft IMO. Now if neither of those guys are there, now that I think of that scenario better, I could see drafting Donald, especially if you address DE in Free Agency. If the Bucs were to trade down, I also like Austin Seffarin-Jenkins even more than Donald. I don't think their is another offensive player quite like him in the draft, and I like Watkins but all the speed later in this draft makes it tough to take him early. I'd have to really look at his ball skills again.
Not sure why this is so hard for some to understand...
Come on Delirious Jason. Who you trying to call out? Don't make me start the poll.
I was agreeing with YOU , genius.
Donald is a beast. It seems frivolous, but if Gerald gets hurt...Bucs are screwed. And he can come in and rush the QB WITH Gmac on obvious passing downs, and I'm fine with that. Whatever Lovie does defensively, I'm cool with. Lovie is bonafide.

Embarrassed face. Sorry.

...and we could be lucky enough to have the entire team stay healthy , and if we don't get a bonafide edge rusher , we are still screwed.Personally , I'm of the belief that you should fill out the starting lineup before you start worrying about your depth.

That was a great post you made , BTW. Undeniable common sense.

There are proven vet pass rushers out there. Producers. The 3tech goes down, and the edge rushers will be neutralized. Lovie wants Donald, then I am cool with it. He would play a lot.

I follow it up by being a dumb a-hole. Apologies again man.
I'm surprised Justin Gilbert isn't getting more attention as a top 10 pick. I think he's gotta be a real possibility for us too. Greg Robinson, Manziel, and Bortles will all most likely be gone by #7.
I'm good with Mathews, Donald, Watkins, or Mack. Not fond of Bortles, Bridge scares me more than Manziel (and fwiw, that weight he put on was water weight...he is 205 pounder naturally...he cAme in as a freshman at around 150. That's tiny.). And Clowney is a problem waiting to happen. And his hype is ridiculous. Based on one amazing hit? Last year he was average. Red flags ahoy! (More so than ANY draftee, IMO)

Gilbert is a darkhorse for sure.

It's cool , man. We all misinterpret things on here from time to time.
Justin Gilbert huh? I hadn't really thought about him. Having a 3rd legit corner would be nice and his return abilities would be a welcomed bonus. I would still prefer a lineman, but I wouldn't hate the pick.
Jdouble I haven't seen much of Donald and since you have I've got a question. Could he possibly move to left end and be effective there and still be able to spell mccoy if needed or is he strictly at dt prospect?
I am on board with Donald...He is a pretty impressive player and would be terrific next to McCoy. Let's grab Jared Allen in FA for the end spot.
