I like the Lovie hire and I think we will be better without a doubt but with one of the worse starting QBs in this league playoffs ain't happening.

Yes, and fortunately, the starting QB next year will have a competent set of coaches, a scheme that allows him to flourish and showcase his skill-set, talented skill position players, and an improved O-line. Something Glennon didn't have for most of the season.

Not all....I think a lot of the Freeman supporters resent Glennon for taking his job .....Comrade CBW comes to mind.

It appears some here want to put all the blame on a rookie QB with little time to set his feet in order to run the plays that were called. We will not know what we have in Glennon until he is put into a position to succeed. Right now he looks like all the other rookie QBs playing behind a bad o-line.

Actually it's pretty much been the opposite.  Lots of Freepologists decided to hate the kid when he stole their sweetroll. stole poor defensless Josh's job and they never got over it.

just about all jumped off the Freeman Love train.  CBW and JC501 are about the only ones left that I can think of and one of them likes Glennon almost as much.

No one puts all the blame on Mike.  No one.  Some just don't think he's very good.  He most certainly wasn't very good in 2013 as a rookie.  Obviously that doesn't mean he can't or won't improve.  I can understand wanting to give the kid another shot.  What baffles me are those that watched him play in 2013 and seem pretty sure he's going to be an above average NFL quarterback.

That is the popular excuse.Aaron Rodgers has never had a good OL. Aaron Rodgers doesn't need any excuses either. It isn't about blaming Glennon for everything on my end. I just don't see him as an NFL ready QB at this time. 6'7" 220 pounds is too skinny. I would not be surprised if he starts next year if he gets internal injuries at some point like Chris Simms had. He is not built to take a pounding.

You seem to be forgetting the ROOKIE part of it.  Rodgers sat for what, three years?Comparing him to established elite QBs is idiocy.

Really the problem is that right now we have the 4th best qB in our division, and that won't change if we draft anyone, and the 3rd/4th best team. It is hard to make the playoffs if you can't even realistically target winning your division.

I think the Falcons and Saints are headed for a drop off.  How old is Brees these days?  The Panthers look like they will be good for the foreseeable future.  So it could come down to the Panthers and Bucs battling it out for the NFC South.  Its a little early to be making predictions, lets see how the draft and free agency go..

Brees will be 35 next week. The Saints should find a way to draft Johnny Manziel. He can learn from Brees over the next few years on how to play in the NFL as an undersized QB.
