Hey Silly:Alpha Mike Foxtrot!Operation: Clean House. Just Do It.
Escape from Alcatraz.
I like that , and that's really what it is. I'm sure once he is free he will tell the truth on schiano trying to control everything
Man, this is all dictated looking.Hang sully out to dry and maintain the same team and staff. Now it will be some excuse like the kiff four game failure. They fell apart because of etc, etc.. but not because of schiano.

Where ya been Boid?
I think we are all assuming McNulty gets the job, and even if so, that the offense will be the same. McNulty, if he gets the job may have a more aggressive approach and may help Glennon or whoever it may be grasp the details of the offense better. And I am sure he will put his personal touches on it. It won't be the exact playbook. Philosophy most likely stays the same, but that is ok IMO. Ninth in the NFL last season is a heck of an offense. Imagine the Bucs defense this year, with last season's offense.I personally don't think the basics and concept of the offense is terrible. Certainly worked last season very well. But tough to succeed with rookie QB, fourth string RB and also missing your starting LG, TE and No. 2 receiver.
. If he gets the job , will this be Mcnultys first time calling plays in the NFL? If so it still equals fail . Just bring in some real NFL coaches .
, I am dissapointed Sullivan/Schiano have chosen to put Glennon in the hands of our less-than-average pass blocking O'line's hands, rather than get the ball out quicker by using more spread formations. That better utilizes his QB IQ in reading defenses and actually sustaining drives.
This is one of the things that is the most frustrating to me. We have all seen it work -- quick passing game leveraging Glennon's strength is generally successful. Not necessarily the hurry up, but quick passes. It's frustrating that you go and draft a guy with one of his strengths being smart and capable of reading defenses then decide not to use that. Instead of taking advantage of a guy who can actually read that D and hurt them with something quick, we still work a passing game that forces him to wait and read a play after the snap and simply rely on the WRs athleticism with those ISO routes. This is just more typical Schiano. He seems to be able to identify talent, but doesn't understand how to apply it. That's why he never made it over the hump in college, why he doesn't understand positional value, and why he is destined for failure in the NFL.

yep I agree , seems to me tho that glennon would do very in a WCO , quick passes
Maybe I'm just loyal to a point but I'm amazed that people in this town are so quick to turn on a coach and QB. It's almost sickening. Last year Sully breaks almost every record our offense has ever had, this year the 'fans' want him gone. Yes I'll admit there are times when I watch a run on 2nd and 18 and think this guy needs to go but then I look at the team we have on the field and think we have an undrafted rookie at RB, a QB who is going through a rookie struggle ( even though 17 touchdowns and 8 interceptions isn't really a bad thing as a rookie) we have 1 pro bowl receiver as a target, and a LT and RG who are playing no where near their pro bowl form. We have a TE who is developing into a legitimate target but still needs polishing. So is having the 32nd ranked offense bad? Sure. Do I think that some of the play calls are bad? Sure. The 'fans' here never give anyone time to develop. We are ready to draft another QB instead of giving Glennon 16 games to see what he has. We were ready to get rid of Gruden after two 9-7 records and look how far we have come since him..... It's like we want a team like the patriots now or else. Great teams that are built to last are developed. Sure their are sprinkles of free agents here and there but look at the Packers, more than 80% of their team was drafted by them. I've noticed that most fans here have absolutely no patience when it comes to developing players or schemes. Can't expect much when Offensive and defensive players have to learn a new scheme every single year. Just my opinion on the matter, you all are entitled to yours as well.
So if Sully is picked up, should McNulty get a shot in the remaining games?I'd like to see what he's made of...
Good well now on how do we get schiano to interview for the texas job?
+1
Need to pass out a ton of free alcoholic beverages in Texas...

Do you think Glennon would be more successful in a Gruden-led offense?

Do you think Glennon would be more successful in a Gruden-led offense?
Absolutely he would. Especially with the 3-headed beast of Martin, James and Rainey running quick routes out of the backfield or slot. Gruden was all about dinking and dunking in down the field and his offense really needs a bright, heady QB to succeed.

I don't need more aggression, I need some gameplanning and quicker reads to take some pressure off the line and QB.
Good luck mike! You can do it!!!!
