Post your thoughts about the big game here.
It will be interesting to see what the OCs and DCs do to help their respective units succeed.
I think the Chiefs defense will focus on slowing Barkley and force Hurts to throw the ball. The Chiefs offense will likely mix the run with their short passing attack to methodically move the ball and keep their defense well-rested.
The Eagles will try to run the ball mixing runs with Barkley and Hurts. There should be opportunities for Brown, Smith, and Goedert to shine if Hurts can get them the ball. The defense should focus on stopping the run and containing Mahomes.
It should be an entertaining game. I think the Eagles get the job done.
Eagles 34 - Chiefs 27
One final thought...Fuck the Chiefs and their damn three-peat crap!
Chiefs will clamp down on the runs which will force Hurts to make some downfield shots. Defensiely, the Eagles can not let the Chiefs win the game with chunk plays. If the Chiefs have to grind out yards to move the ball that is the Eagles chance of victory to keep the game close.
Cooper Dejean TD when was the last time a white corner had a pick six? 25 years ago by jason seahorn?
When the Bucs beat the Chefs in the Superbowl it was largely because the Bucs defense won at the line of scrimmage. That's obviously the case once again. Just goes to show everything starts with that O-line which is a reason for optimism for the Bucs next year.
Both defenses are ferocious.
This one is starting to look like what our Bucs did to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV…
Still plenty of game left, but even if I were a gambler - still wouldn’t bet against Mahomes in a game like this…
Chiefs O-line definitely not looking great right now.
Agreed that it reminded me a lot of our Super Bowl against the Chiefs.
a lot of Philly fans wanted sirianni fired last year.
theyll be fine without Kellen Moore. They got a good young team.
not sure they’ll be able to get Zach Baun back.

Same basic game plan
awesome!
want to keep that distance between Mahomes and Brady for GOAT
The MVP - "“Defense played their ass off. They played how they played all year. I truly believe offense wins games but defense wins championships. How our defense has been able to play is a great testament to them,” Hurts said.
Andy Reid is great, and I think underrated by some. But that's two Superbowls now where he simply couldn't adjust to what was happening on the field. I was surprised to see it in 2020, and very surprised to watch the repeat last night. He's gotta wear those offensive gameplans and adjustments.

i mean he's got to be top 5 head coach of all time, right?

At least, yes. Top 4 in wins, 3 Superbowl trophies, and leads two different NFL franchises in coaching victories. He's got one helluva resume.
