Okay, let's look at this and try to be objective. +6.5 (started at 7) is a lot of points for a team that just went on the road and dropped 31 on a team that had months to prepare for Jameis and company, and whose head coach is considered to be a very sound and progressive defensive mind. Conversely, Arians is an offensive guy and Bettcher is relatively new to the DC job and quite frankly, seems to be just finding his legs as a coach in the position.
Vegas sees a fools play as most will simply say, Arizona is not losing two games in a row at home, and will take their NE frustrations out on a young, less experienced, Tampa team.
Atlanta is not nearly as bad as the national media is saying and our ability to get the ball to many different players throughout the game is what did them in. I think we will continue to see this as a huge part of Koetter's O, spreading the ball around. Obviously, Arizona is not a team you want to challenge a ton through the air as Peterson and Tyron are as good as it gets in the league, secondary wise. Charles Simms and the underneath game, should again be the answer for our offensive success. Also, their run d is very average and should allow Dougie and company to rip off some runs.
On the defensive side of the ball, Palmer is starting to look like an old vet that has been injured a lot, he's not playing with the same level of confidence. Our new nasty on D may be intimidating enough to force him into some poor decisions. Its going to be a tough tough game, one that could go a long way in determining our playoff fate.
6.5, to me, seems like vegas knows the general public is still not paying much attention to the new Bucs.
