It sure seemed as though Bowles had his fingerprints all over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers draft class. The 2019 draft haul resulted in five defensive selections. Bowles defenses have the characteristics of an aggressive scheme, primarily with press man coverage, a ton of blitzing, and most of all, playing fast. What general manager Jason Licht and Bowles saw on tape led them to believe they needed more of those characteristics in 2019.
