The Buccaneers are seeking physically fit and highly energetic men and women to run the team flags through the end zones and energize the fans at all Buccaneers home games! (Must be able to run while carrying a 25 pound flag on a 12 foot pole.)
Selected candidates will be notified on Monday, Sept. 25th and invited to audition the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 26th. Those who make the cut will begin work at our game against the New York Giants on Oct. 1st, 2017 at Raymond James Stadium.
Job Summary
The Flag Runner will work part-time at all Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games in addition to large scale events and Training Camp. Main responsibilities will focus on the running of Buccaneer Flags through the end zone on game days, leading the Intro Flag Team program, assisting with Pirate Ship Giveaways and adding to the overall game day and event atmosphere by engaging fans. Assist with all needs as directed for pre-game, in-game, halftime, and post-game elements along with other game day duties to enhance the overall Buccaneers game day or event with fan and sponsor entertainment and experiences.

This is a part time, hourly position.
Core Functions:
Run large Buccaneers Flags (20lb’s) through the end zones after each Buccaneers scoring play during all home games
Engage with fans to create a fun and energetic atmosphere and enhance the overall game day entertainment and event experience
Engage fans by distributing giveaway items and demonstrating team spirit when appropriate throughout all home games, during training camp and large scale events
Serve as an ambassador for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Assist with all needs as directed for pre-game, in-game, halftime, and post-game elements
Assist other game day crews and departments as needed and directed
Skills & Abilities
Ability to run at a fast pace while carrying 20lb flag
Ability to throw/toss promotional items
Must be lively, out-going, enthusiastic, positive, hardworking, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
High confidence in the ability to entertain, communicate and interact with large crowds and individuals
Ability to adhere to, deliver and execute timelines, rundowns, layouts, promotions and entertainment elements on game days
Ability to collaborate and work well with others
Ability to assist in set-up and breakdown
Knowledge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL, Football, Raymond James Stadium, One Buccaneer Place, and the Tampa Bay area
Flexible and capable in the ability to lead and be led
Handy, responsive, and eager to help
Ability to work well under pressure, on multiple projects, and trouble-shoot where necessary
Experience & Education
Dancing/Entertainment background is preferred
Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of radio use and protocols
Work Environment
The Company is a professional, fast paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:
Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required. Required to work all home games; may have to work occasional holidays; must be able to work flexible hours.
Required to work all 10 Buccaneers home games and report at least three hours prior to kickoff
Running, lifting, throwing, standing, working outside for extended periods of time.
Physical Demands: HIGH; this position calls for a great deal of physical exertion
Lifting more than 50 pounds is required
