OK folks, after Sundays games, the Buccaneers are drafting 8th overall. With 4 weeks left, the position can improve a bit. With no hope for playoffs, I figured we might as well start a tank-a-thon watch to keep track of where we are picking.
Current Standings:
1 - Browns @ 0-12
2 - Giants @ 2-10
3 - 49er's @ 2-10
4 - Denver @ 3-9
5 - Colts @ 3-9
6 - Bears @ 3-9
7 - Texans @ 4-8 (pick belongs to the Browns)
8 - Bucs @ 4-8
My thoughts:
1-Browns have #1 locked up.
2-Giants at best get one more win. (Cowboys, Eagles, Cards, Redskins)
3-49ers may get one more vs the Texans, but it would be better if the 49ers lost out for us. (Texans, Titans, Jags, Rams)
4-Denver plays the Jets, Colts, Redskins and Chiefs. Its possible they get two more wins
5-The Colts could surprise and win vs the Bills, Bronco's and Texans but I think they only win 2 of those at best.
6-The Bears play the Browns, Bengals, Lions and Vikings. They would have to win two of those games for the Bucs to jump them. Don't see that happening.
7-Texans have games against the 49ers, Jags, Steelers and Colts. I think they will win the 49ers and Colts game
At best even losing out I think the Bucs will pick 6th. And considering the teams in front of us, I doubt Chubb will make it to us.
1-Browns are taking a QB.
2-Giants are taking a QB (but may be will to trade down)
3-49ers - Depends how Garopollo plays, but will probably take Chubb
4-Broncos - QB
5-Colts - Anything but QB possible (could shock and release Luck but I doubt it)
6-Bears - Anything but QB possible
7-Texans - Anything but QB possible
8-Bucs - ????
If the Bucs end up with the 6th overall pick, what would it take to move to #2, in front of the 49er's to get Chubb?
