He's been mocked to us , so I was watching him closely , and I was impressed with his combine .Here's an interesting video of him facing Clowney in the Outback bowl . Didn't embarrass himself , but he seemed to be holding on by the skin of his teeth sometimes against Clowney's athleticism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cpIkjW-CY4
I'd take both Robinson and Matthews over him. I think he'll be a good LT, but I do think he's the #3 in this class.
He held his own... and some of Clowney, too.A while back, I thought he might leapfrog Matthews in the draft, but Robinson is the one who did that... maybe.
I'd be interested in him with a trade down into the mid-teens. I don't think he has enough upside to be the #7 pick. He kind of reminds me of Nate Solder from a few years ago.
There are some character concerns. I believe he got in trouble for threatening a girl who was accusing his teammate of rape. I read he threatened to re-rape her. I don't know all the details, but his interviews were very important for his draft positioning. Personally, I'd stay away from him. After watching the Incognito/Martin saga unfold, no need to bring in a known bully
I'm not sure I'm comfortable with him at 7. If we trade down some he is an option, but if we stay at 7 there will be better options I think.
Reminds me of Bruce Campbell.
I'll be amazed if Lewan makes it out of the top 10. He would've gone top 10 last draft if he came out.

He went to Florida State? I thought he played at Michigan.
Not crazy about Lewan.
Would trade back and grab him...but not at #7 overall. Easily the third-best LT in the combine, and would fill a need. Any position from QB, LT, DE would be a good 1st round pick.

Pretty good comp.
RobinsonMathewsLewanAny of those guys is fine by me. If Manziel or Bridgewater aren't there, that is. Got to try to upgrade the QB spot. If not with seven, then in free agency. Robinson is my favorite. His run block advantage is too immense. With the quicker offense I assume his pass blocking, even if it struggles to compensate as a rookie, shouldn't be such an issue. I like Robinson the most.Mathews is from a fool proof football gene pool. Great upside. Versatile. Mean. Lewan is a stud. Chippy. Angry. Talented. Any of them is cool.

nate soldier doesn't have his strength and isn't quite as athletic. Lewan is a better prospect. Mayock said he looked like a top 10 talent and said he looked as good if not better than that Fisher guy who went first last year. He might be the #3 LT in this draft but this is a very good draft for them regardless.
No thank you. Scum bag.The feds are now investigating the rape incident and Lewan is going to be dragged in at some point.
