@catherder Dude..... taxes, Atheletes pay a metric shit load in taxes.
👀👀👀 teddy B
McMillan with a nasty fall
Teddy played decent ball tonight. But I do not think it has changed anything in terms of depth chart.

like I said I hope we don’t find out
its very likely trask can be #2 but would think it baker were to miss a start, teddy gets the start
also, whats more likely, a team plucking trask or teddy off the practice squad?
a lot of things going against trask here in the #2 battle
also, whats more likely, a team plucking trask or teddy off the practice squad?
Seeing as every team already had the option to sign TB as a FA and didn’t, the logical answer to that question is Trask.
The TD throw to Bucky was a beaut.

would be valid if not for trask having the same exact opportunity in march. And for so many fans thinking he has potential to start, one would think a change of scenery would be a good thing for him but alas he chose to return on a 1 year deal
im not saying teams will knock down the door for teddy but an injury to another starter and pretty clear he would be higher risk to be plucked then trask
But again maybe I’m wrong let’s see what happens in the final game and depth chart

I’m not sure I understand. Trask was a free agent for one day, while TB was a free agent for months - all the way through the start of camp. Point being, teams has a much longer period of time to decide not to sign Teddy. That includes Tampa, who only signed him after injuries to two QB’s.
It’s also worth noting that neither guy may go on the PS. The team has carried 3 QB’s before. And since the EQB has to be on the roster, there’s a good chance of that happening again.

Same here.
A couple great throws
SR feels that Teddy is making a push for #2 but I do not think so. Trask has to be really bad for that to happen but he has been very steady and soaking in coaching with this Bucs staff. Trask wanted to re-sign and the Bucs wanted him back so to me it is unlikely they decide to demote him to #3.

i don't understand your last sentence that because he was re-signed that they wouldn't demote him to #3
fact of the matter is, you wouldn't bring in a veteran of Teddy's caliber if you were happy with Trask as the #2.
now the naysayers are saying adding Teddy is like adding another coach, only reason they did that; well okay but why now? Why not in Bakers first year or 2nd year? Why wait until the guy throws 41 touchdowns? Would have thought he needed more guidance when he was a rollercoaster a few years ago and not a top 10 quarterback now
When Teddy was first signed, Licht said Trask was #2 but still games to be played and players will compete. Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
After Saturday's game, Bowles declined to provide a quarterback pecking order
It's entirely possible that Trask remains #2, but guys, this happened 2 years ago too where the reality didn't really sink in for you until Trask was playing with undrafted free agents late in the 4th quarter of one of the preseason games. Do we see a repeat in week 3 preseason?
I'd actually be quite surprised if Bridgewater isn't the #2 QB in week 1. And unfortunately, i dont think it's necessarily Trask's fault. Only so much you can do in practice and preseason games, but the pedigree of Bridgewater and his history and the fact that he got up off the couch and tosses 2 touchdowns....yeah...it's like a wrap.

This isn't a fact, it's your opinion.
Honest question: Do you think it was a coincidence that TB was signed after injuries to two of the four QB that were already on the roster?

Seems like a pretty logical opinion. Both can be true.
