Interesting signing
does he slot in as our #2 with Trask taking over the Ryan Griffin role?
Thought I saw that Pratt was on IR.
Signing another vet QB makes sense.

can never have too many camp arms....but curious with his veteran pedigree if he becomes our #2?
Trask has the advantage with the playbook and throwing to the guys in practice for the last half decade.

Agreed on the arms.
I’ve heard that Kyle isn’t having a very good camp.
My guess is the Teddy is QB3, but Trask is on thin ice at the backup.
It's weird...
not exactly a ringing endorsement for Trask
Jason Licht: " we have some preseason games to play and all that but right now Kyle is our backup and that is the intention and that's what we are hoping for but everybody is competing"
It's weird...
If Teddy doesn’t work out, maybe we can sign your boy Jameis as our 3rd string when he gets cut from the Giants in a few weeks.

Would improve the room. Man, what a shit show in NY with Jaxon and Russ. Russ sucked when he was good. Yet their D is top tier. Oh to be a Giants fan in 2025.
Would improve the room.
Agreed.
Jaboo would be a huge help for our secondary in practices. Good reps to work on interception drills.
wINsTon legendary INT artiste.
Agree.
One time around the Fameous Winston tree is enough, thanks. Wish him well, but from a distance.
If Teddy has something left in the tank, I like his experience & if he still has some, looks like a great depth piece for for a team expecting to make a run.
On the one hand they signed Bridgewater for his experience, so that would seem to indicate that if Mayfield got hurt they would put in Bridgewater. But on the other hand Trask has the experience with the system so he theoretically should be able to run basically the whole playbook as opposed to an abridged version that Bridgewater can run. So I don't think they really have a firm idea of who is #2. It depends on how the preseason games unfold.Thought I saw that Pratt was on IR.

But Bridgewater was never Dan Marino when it comes to pinpoint passing, and with the receivers we have we need someone to get them the ball obviously. Do we want an experienced QB even if they aren't that good at passing the ball? We'll see. If Bridgewater beats out Trask then they really don't have any faith in Trask's ability to handle the pressure of a real live NFL game.
If Trask can't beat out Bridgewater then holy shit.
Good lord what an awful fucking pick by Licht. That draft class is dog shit. Got high on his own supply .
If Trask can't beat out Bridgewater then holy shit.
Yeah. That would be no bueno.
That being said, I think this has more to do with Pratt being on the PUP.
Probably so. But they don't need to decide the final depth chart right now. They can let it play out in the preseason. If Trask can't beat out Bridgewater then holy shit.
