I'm not saying turn over the keys to the franchise to Locker .Locker is just a guy who can push Glennon ,win some games if Glennon got hurt , and maybe develop into something more if we got lucky .
Exactly, people are gonna go mental over anyone we bring in as the backup plan but simply put anyone who is the backup plan has warts -- or they'd be the actual plan. Locker can win games, he's not embarrassingly incompetent this year.
Bridgewater would be nuts not to declare. Houston has a decent team they've had a hard luck season. Bridgewater makes Houston an instant contender next year IMO.
I would go back if I was him. Finish school and also improve your game. Not that dumb of a decision.
Good thing we lost all those games to ensure us one of the top QB's huh. http://fansided.com/2013/12/13/teddy-bridgewater-considering-return-louisville-possibility-according-one-report/
...and this is bad news for us. At 9 or so we want as many top prospects in the draft. Anything that thins the top makes our lives that much harder.
Of course this isn't good news the Bucs. I don't think anybody has ever accused the OP of being a deep thinker.Simpletons will be simpletons.

Ahh, the cowardly welch has made his appearance in the thread. Welcome scarecrow! Has the wizard found you a brain yet?
that would be a very stupid move! jags will not pick first, so the only reason to do so is not present any more!

Despite the board idiot who failed miserably in trying to twist words, I agree, it would not be a smart move if Houston has the #1 overall. But again, just like the cowardly welch, people continue to do stupid things no matter how much good advice they are given.
So losing all our games doesn't guarantee us a "franchise" qb? Color me shocked

I know right? But hey, all we have to do is lose all of our games next year for the franchise QB. Then lose all the game the year after that for the franchise LT, then lose all the game the year after that for, well probably another franchise QB since our current QB sucks so bad that we went 0-32 with him..

I don't agree with you on much. But this one made me laugh.
Meanwhile Johnny Football is partying over this news. Throwing back a few.
Actually he said today that if he isn't projected to be a 1st round pick, then he will return to A&M for another year.
I see him as late first, but not top 10. If he measures out at the combine, 5-10 or shorter, it could be a free fall of epic proportions. Aaron Rodgers type free fall.
Saw Johnny Flushin' Football standing next to Jordan Lynch at the Heisman ceremony... Lynch is supposed to be 6'0". The sandlot guy was shorter.
Tre Mason 5'9"Jordan Lynch 6'0"Jameis Winston 6'3"AJ McCarron 6'3"Johnny Manziel 5'11"Andre Williams 6'0"
Manzeil looks like a fukkin leprechaun
If Lynch is 6'0" (and I'd doubt that) even then Manziel looks more than 1" shorter than him, then again listed height in college are always a crapshoot for what schools report about guys.
