Manzeil looks like a fukkin leprechaun
You bash me about joking Glennon for looking like a napoleon dynamite giraffe....but...yeah. Hypocrite.
I'm not calling him Doug Flutie but he was a pretty short guy that found ways to win also....
If Lynch is 6'0" (and I'd doubt that) even then Manziel looks more than 1" shorter than him, then again listed height in college are always a crapshoot for what schools report about guys.
Manziel was listed as 6'1" for a long time. It was changed to 5'11" this year. Chances are it is legit.

The combine measurements will be the real deal. I hope for his sake he is somewhere close to 6 feet. If not, its going to cost him big $$$$$$.
If Teddy still has any doubt in his mind, he should take a good look at the QB play today in the league. Geno for example. Teddy is probably already better than Geno and a few other QB's that are starting now.
Here are the problems with Bridgewater not coming out. One...he could get hurt. Two, Mariota and Winston will probably declare next year and would be competition for the first pick (especially Winston). Three, Bridgewater will be in the ACC next year and the competition he will go up against will be much tougher. If he doesn't play as well against better competition that will raise some red flags and could make him drop from the #1 overall pick to the 3rd QB taken next year.
I don't think people fully understand how different this league is. It's not a coincidence that so many rookie QBs have immediate success now. Or that old back ups that were never very good, are now looking very good. Like Flynn, McCown, Campbell, Palmer, Alex Smith, Chad Henne, Nick Foles, Kellen Clemens, and every other nub that steps in to play back up. These guys aren't all the sudden much better QBs that they use to be. The rules have changed the game and it is simply easier to play. That's why you have new records being broke every single week now. That's why you have Nick Foles throwing 7 TDs in one game and Josh Freeman breaking franchise records. And whether folks want to admit it or not, it's why a guy like Glennon has been able to put up some pretty good numbers even though he is very average. I touched on it in another thread, but this is why HCs and QBs don't get 4 or 5 years anymore. You get a year or two to show you are legit. You do it or it's time to move on to the next guy. The standards and expectations are higher than ever in today's NFL and it's about time fams realize it. You can't settle for mediocrity when the league is now set up for you to have great offensive success.

We don't really know what he is right now. No one does. He hasn't even played a full season yet. Its too early to label him. Some NFL players have looked lost their rookie season, only to go on and have a HOF career.
He has been very average this season. And the whole point of my post is that truly good QBs should be very good right away. This isn't the same NFL as 10 or 20 or 30 years ago, so I don't care how some HoFer started off poorly back then. Very average QBs are doing very well in today's NFL.

I bash you for hating a guy because of how he looks. I don't hate JFF at all. Certainly not because how he looks. Its such a shame you have gone so far off the deep end.
yeah Caradoc....my posts are sooo crazy. I've really lost it. Smh. You keep painting your own narrative. I'm sure you'll get a few people on these boards to believe you. I could care less.
Bortles Mariota, and Winston are going to make it tough on Bridgewater next year..however Bortles could come out this year if Bridgewater steps away.

I may have read that wrong, but truly good QB's are playing well? AgreeAnd average QB's are playing well also? Seems like a contradiction.

Agreed and QFT . +1

Simple not true, at all. Compared to other vets, yes very average. Compared to other rookies, nope, he's been, dare I say it, elite. He'll end up in very good standing when compared historically after his last two games with other rookies.Imagine having taken Geno "INT" Smith or a 1st on the FSU guy who's throw about half the TD's Glennon has.
