TAMPA — Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford, still recuperating from a medical procedure done early last week, took another step in his return to full-time duty with the Bucs on Friday when he attended practice at One Buc Place.“He was out there for the first part with the special teams and then we go into the offensive and defensive phases and he was out there for the entire time of that,’’ Smith said. “That’s a step in the right direction.“He’ll be a game-time decision (on Sunday), but he’s been cleared to come back to work on a limited basis. That can mean quite a bit. But that last step is being able to go out and in Tampa, if you can go out on the practice field, that’s saying quite a bit about the progress you’re making.’’The Bucs have been preparing for the possibility that Tedford, a 52-year-old NFL rookie coordinator, will not be available for Sunday’s game. Their plan is to have quarterbacks coach Marcus Arroyo call plays with input from the rest of the offensive coaching staff.
