I highly doubt Lovie sat out a year to just jump on the first job that pops up. I think he'll wait and speak with all suitors. He'll probably be a very hot name this offseason.
If Lovie did get hired by the Texans I wouldn't mind Phillips here as DC with his one gap 3-4 but it will never happen.
They will have a list before all these other teams do. Houston is an appealing job, but my guess is Lovie will field his offers first.
