Licht has done a good job of identifying those glass eaters along the OL.

But it feels like without a Suh or JPP (in his prime) that this team lacks that edge to make adversaries fear them but also respected.  Smith is good as well as Winfield but they are not glass eaters. Vea comes close.

Next off season Licht's primarily responsibility is to get head on fire edge rusher opposite of Diaby and a hell raiser at MIKE LB.  Tough as nails guys that are no nonsese and really bring the pain.

That is the downside with drafting too many DBs you are missing out on some players that can being toughness and edge to your front seven.

Good post and seems a straightforward point.  I dont know that there is anyone on the defense that other teams have to fear or even account for, certainly not in the front 7

In hindsight you let McCollum walk and get a comp pick and use that money on the front seven (since he drafted 2 corners).

Re-signing McCollum (CB2) is okay if you let Dean walk. Morrison is your future CB1 and Parrish is your NCB but also CB3 on the boundary.  Izien covers the the rest as backup CB4/NCB2/S3.

Hall isn't coming back so the picture is clearer with a defensive reset next off season.

Sadly, we’ll probably need to address CB again early if Dean leaves.

LB, EDGE, CB.

you let McCollum walk

I doubt it unless the wizards of OBP can figure out a contract that pays Dean for actual performance lol

I think you address in rounds 4-6

Can we just pay him per game he plays? Lol
