1) Budda Baker

This guy can just flat out play. Great tackler. Fantastic, fluid athlete. Can play ball in the air. He just flashes in the secondary from the safety position. The energy and skill set he will bring to our team is going to be like a Kwon in the secondary. Out of all the defenders who could fall to us, Baker's tape impressed me the most. For those of you worried about his size, read this. Didn't even mention that he can play the nickle.

2) Chris Godwin

Don't I waited to long to check out this guy. Checks every box. Good size. Good hands. Played all WR positions in a pro style offense. Runs every route well. Big play specialist. Would come in and be an instant contributer.

3) Samajie Perine

Lacks the big play ability that I would want in a running back, but he is going to be consistent and productive in the NFL. His game translates well. Strong, tough runner, who while not a home run guy, will still break a big run here and there. The kinda guy who can hopefully keep Brees and Ryan off the field. Can step right in and contribute.

4) Jeremy Sprinkle.

Great all around TE. Not elite at anything, but great at everything. Played an in line TE AND move TE at Arkansas. Has big play ability. Will compliment Brate pretty well and slide into Stocker's role and offer more athleticsm.

5) Dede Westbrook

Draft stock has been falling like a rock due to bad interviews and questionable character. Will add speed and explosion to our offense.

Poking holes in my own draft.

Wanted to add a pass rusher, but just couldn't leave our need for weapons unaddressed. Our lack of depth at WR is glaring. Our defense was good enough last year and will improve. Spence will be fully healthy. Baker adds some rush. Let's hope for a full year out of Ayers also, along with Jack Smith in a rotational role.

Didn't bring in o-line. Sweezy is healthy. Marpet is moving to center. I thought Pamphile was solid last year. Evan Smith can play multiple positions. I think the offensive line took too much blame last year. Our whole offense was out of sync. I don't care who is starting at o line. When your only real threat is Evans and a #2 TE, you are not going to move the ball. Think additions of Jackson and Godwin will open things up a bit.
